Hi, I’m Simon and I am a co-founder of Start Running – Stay Running.
I was approached back in June by Linda with a concept to help new runners and those returning to running by developing a complete programme to encompass all elements required to run and keep injury-free.
With my experience in building and running a successful female and male transformation gym, this felt like the perfect partnership and Start Running – Stay Running and our membership ‘The Inside Track’ was developed.
In my youth, I played football professionally for many teams. I was a player at Southampton before I got injured, however, I did manage to obtain my UEFA B-badge. I had the opportunity to learn about how plyometric movements are important for athletes to be able to perform.
My desire to train as a PT came when I lost 4.5 stone six years ago and this inspired me to help others do the same and live their best and healthiest lives.
My training over the years has gained my qualifications in Level 2 Instructors Course, Level 3 Personal Trainer, Level 4 Nutritional Coach and a Sports & Business Studies degree (OU). I am looking forward to helping our members with their strength and conditioning and general nutrition needs to better their running and keep injury-free.
